I made a rose out of duct tape.
Jude, I think that next time we hang out and are in a crazy art project mood, we should make stuff out of duct tape. It's actually really fun :) And it's only like $4 for a roll of it.
So I'm on spring break and I'm SO bored because every single one of my friends either a.) has a different break than me, b.) is out of town for break or c.) is busy either babysitting or being attached at the hip to someone else (those gal dang teenagers with their hormones...). So I'm watching "My so-called life" and making stuff (collages, duct tape flowers, etc...).
Sadly, I'm almost out of duct tape and my only color is bright orange :P I'm hoping to get my grandma to buy me more... yeah.

Movie Reviews!
So I watched like 3 movies yesterday (I only really remember 2) and I'll review them for your absolute pleasure!
#1: Population 436
This movie was about this guy who worked for a census bureau and went to investigate a town that had had the same population for 100 years. So he went there and figured out that they were really creepy and when a person was born they would have a festival and kill one person who was honored (by being hung). And the weirdest thing was that when ever a person living there wanted to leave they were thought to have had the "fever" and were taken to the "hospital" where they cut out a part of your brain!!!!!
I have to say that this movie was really creepy and not in the normal creepy movie way. So it was interesting and it totally didn't end like I thought it was going to. So I would recommend it to anyone who can handed some really weird things...
#2: Leap Year
In this one Amy Adams is going to Ireland to propose to her 4 year boyfriend and she ends up falling for this guy she meets that was taking her to find her husband. As you can tell, this was a very stereotypical romantic comedy movie.
It had some really funny parts and was totally cute but it barely had any original thought put into it... So if you want to watch this movie (which I kind of recommend) you may get a little bored and become infected by the cheesy bug.
-Peace!

"It's FriiiIIIIIiiiiday! Friday!": A Rant
Perhaps you've heard the song...
I must rant about this song right now. Actually, both the song and the video. I cannot sleep until I do this...
So I did a Google search on Rebecca Black after seeing that video. Apparently, she's not the one that wrote this crap song called 'Friday.' That means I have a humongous grudge against not one, but two people. Possibly more, depending on who really wrote the song.
Back on track! I found out that Miss Black is thirteen years old, which raises a few questions for me. There's a part of the video where she's waiting for the bus when suddenly her friends drive up next to her.
I'll admit, there's a possibility that her friends are older. Maybe they met in second grade or something, but what second grader is going to befriend a fifth grader? What fifth grader is going to wake up in the morning and think, "I think I'll make friends with a second grader today"? There really isn't an opportunity for people of varying ages to meet each other in school until middle school-- that's when I got to know you guys better/become aware of your existence (sad, but true. And it's because of the grade level separation). To get to my point, Rebecca's friends are probably thirteen just like she is, so WHY ARE THEY FREAKING DRIVING?! What is this world coming to...?
Another point I'd like to bring up is the downfall of the English language. One of the lines is "we so excited." Every grammar freak must be cringing every time they hear that... these younger people are learning English this way. They must be. Grammar is not the cool thing and it makes me cry inside. Avery, this would be like if Ikhranhaji (I'm pretty sure I spelled her name wrong...) started talking like this, which I don't believe that she has before, unless it was jokingly.
Her voice. I cringe at that too. But apparently according to some internet articles that I've come across, she was asked to sing the national anthem on Good Morning America and she was fine. There was no auto-tune to kill her performance, but then they asked her to sing Friday again and she reverted back to her nasal voice. Maybe pop culture is twisting our views about what a voice is supposed to sound like. Thanks a lot, bad hip-hop music....
Another one, and I'm not going to elaborate on this one because it really relates to the driving thing... what parent is going to let a thirteen year old go out at NIGHT with a group of friends by themselves?
Blah....
Okay, something less upsetting than this song.
Spring Break has officially begun! Hurray!!! Nine day of happy fun time! I have two college visits scheduled at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul (which will be fun to tour, but I don't think I'll attend or even apply because they don't have any dorms and apartments at eighteen years old would be too much for me to handle on top of college) and also the University of Minnesota- Duluth (which I'm really excited about because I looooooove Duluth!)
Also, I got my letter from Step-Up and I'm officially in the program! I might actually get a job this summer, which would be so nice. I need a job so that I can do another music tour (maybe) and also go to France (slash Switzerland slash Italy) next year. Oh yeah, and that education thingy that's just around the corner.
Alright, I really need to go to bed now. If you haven't noticed, my arguing skills have pretty much gone downhill since the beginning of this post.
Avery, I'll text you later about Monday, and Ezra, perhaps we shall Facebook pretty soon!

"And I'm gonna show her life on Earth can be sweet..."
Hi, I'm a dork because I've been listening to the "Hair" soundtrack for like a week straight and singing it at random times XD Ahhhh I'm such a theatre goon...
So theres this super weird kid who sits by me in Geometry and today he kept naming all of his quadrilaterals after me... like "on quadrilateral EZRA, angle E is congruent to angle R and line segment EZ is parallel to line segment RA" ... Awkward :/
Okay so I know that everyone on the entire planet is talking about this song, but if you havent't seen it yet, watch it, it is laughably bad XD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2LRROpph0
We watched it in English and spent like fifteen minutes making fun of it XD
Okay and now that you're done assaulting your ears, here's a techno remix of "Pachelbel's canon" thats actually really good :)

Aiight thats all I've got to say. Byes.

Hola!
Hello all! I have some HUGE news!! So you know that I started track and what not yesterday? Well today I went and I saw this guy who I absolutely LOVE! I've haven't seen him since last year, cause he graduated, but OMG! he's like so old and he's got a beard, and he's still so smexy! It's kind of sad cause I don't think he remembers me but I'm going to ask him tomorrow!
... Sorry for rambling but he's like super awesome.
Anyway, like I told Megan before I beefed it in gym (got like 100 bruises), and then today I kept falling all over! I wonder what's going on? And I kept getting hit the butt during dodge ball... kind of weird, right? Is my butt like a target?!?!?

Haitus Over. Period.
GAH! Guys, I'm sorry.... it's been too long... I have no excuse other than I was beyond lazy...
Update Time!
This past weekend, I went to my grandparent's house with Shannon and my cousin Abby. My great-grandma was there too (she was incredibly hilarious, I will not hesitate to add). There, I discovered that butter (or rather, "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter") is basically a staple food (bleh....), my grandpa doesn't know any of our birthdays (the closest he got was my cousin's birthday and he was something like a week off, but for the rest of us, he was anywhere from a couple weeks to entire months off), making tie-blankets is beyond fun (mine is below!), and Better Than Sex cake is, while I have no comparison like the name suggests, pretty freaking good!
In other news, I get to go to a meeting on April 20th in preparation for my trip to France in 2012! I am beyond psyched!! 12 days in France and we might just get to visit Switzerland and Italy too! WEEE!!!! My first experience in leaving the country and I could very well hit three other countries in one swoop! Any way, I should probably say more about this as the date approaches, so I'll leave it at that.
I leave for Chicago in less than four weeks. It's going to be busy for music in the next few weeks... South is doing Guys and Dolls as the musical, so there are quite a number of people that busy either performing in it or playing in the pit orchestra. I can't remember the dates, but would this be something that would interest either of you? We could make it a night just the three of us (or two if someone can't go). I'll have to see if I can get the car one of those nights if we do decide to go. After Guys and Dolls, we have a concert where we're playing with the orchestra for a couple songs. It's going to be so cool! We're playing Jurassic Park, Wicked, Star Trek (music from the movie and the TV show), and some music from The Muppets. So fun!
Spring Break is coming up too! Are you guys doing anything special? I'm doing something like three college tours, which entails a very short trip to Duluth (sad day... I love Duluth...).
I hope you are both doing well!
By the way, we still have to figure out a day for Underwater Adventures at Mall of America... Jennifer is still interested, she just needs a date and details like that so she can tell her parentals. I'm excited for this too!
Avery, it's finally your turn (took long enough, right? You're probably bursting!)!
